TESTIMONIALS

Shabaaz, Hyderabad

I have been using Birra’s products for quite a while now and it has been a magical experience. What really stole the show was the Wasif Collection. My favourite from the Wasif collection has been the Mukhallat Karimi. I cannot stress on how well made Mukhalla Karimit is.. It has lasted the test of time and I will continue to buy it as long as they make it! If you are a fan of woody fragrances, do try Birra’s Mukhallat Karimi.

I love Oud Arabica! It's the best Middle Eastern perfume I've smelled so far. I usually like floral and musky scents, but this is one of the only perfumes I have ever liked with vanilla notes. The smell lasts on my skin for a really long time, which is something that I really appreciate.

Raes Ahmed, Bombay

My wife’s joy knew no bounds when I got her the exquisite Vivacious for our first year anniversary. I was looking to get her a scent that was alluring yet at the same time light and floral. Vivacious ticked all the notes from her favourite fragrance profile. If you like light floral scents, Vivacious is a must have!

I started using Cajole Body Gel about a year ago and my skin has never looked better! Every time I use this, my skin feels like silk. It does not dry out and makes your skin feel so soft. My skin tone has evened out and I don't have dry patches any more!

Anam, Bangalore

Citrus Tinge is my favourite room freshener because it doesn't leave your home smelling like a choking hazard. I love the fresh, clean scent and how it's not too overpowering either! Citrus Tinge is light, refreshing, and perfect for every day.

FAQs

Which kind of perfumes are long-lasting?
Long-lasting perfumes are made by mixing essential oils and solvents. Perfumes are not always made of pure essential oils. A few of them are made by mixing alcohol in them. Fragrances mixed with alcohol tend to lead to skin dryness and damage to the natural skin barrier. Hence using scents made of natural essential oils is advised instead of alcohol-based perfumes.
How are Attars made?
Attar is an essential oil derived from the steam distillation of plant material and the word originates from the Latin name for flowers which was adopted by Arabic and Persian scientists to describe flower-scented oils.
How are cold and warm attars different?
Cool ones are made up of rose, jasmine, etc which are perceived to cool the body when applied. They are used during the summer. On the other hand, warm ones are made up of Amber, Kesar, etc which is believed to increase the body temperature be used in winters.
